Loving My Online Job

I am amazed at the wonders technology has brought us. One friend asked me one time, “Can you imagine life without the internet? How did those people survive in those days?”. Of course that was meant to be a joke, but there’s some truth to it.

Because of technology, I was able to earn online. Not that much for now, but it has definitely helped us with our daily needs. Since I have a very positive attitude, I would like to expect that I would have more opportunities in the future.

But being a non-Native English speaker, I think I would need kaplan gre practice test to be better with the use of the English language.  But since I don’t have that opportunity yet, I would have to rely on what I learned from my English professors– and there’s google to check my grammar, of course!

Speaking of working online, I found this photo in google: funny, eh?

Gifts for my Folks

In a few days we will be going home.  That meant 2 plane rides– 1 International flight from Bangkok to Manila, the Philippines’ capital city and then a domestic flight from Manila to Cagayan de Oro. Wait, the traveling does not stop there.  There’s another 2-hour drive from Cagayan de Oro to our city– then we’re home!

By now we are thinking of what to bring our folks.  They did not demand anything, but it’s just good to bring them something from Thailand.  Maybe we will just bring those Thai delicacies that they really liked when they came over for a visit.

For my papa, I was thinking, maybe he would like one of those personalized man cave gifts online. It could be our advanced Father’s Day present for him as well!

Yok Yor Chao Praya Cruise

We were so looking forward to enjoying the cruise in Chao Praya river when I realized I was not able to bring my camera with me.  Oh, great.  How could I let something like this happen? Thanks to my friends, I was able to take photos of our 4-hour cruise.  It was a great experience– I am actually looking forward to doing it again when friends and family come to visit the city.

Had dinner on the top deck of this boat. It was a great night!

We were expecting that there was a band that’s going to play songs while we enjoy the view, but there was only one guy who sang to karaoke. Towards the end, though, he invited people to come and sing infront. It was sad that the song my friend wanted to sing was not in the karaoke playlist.

Maybe next time we should bring a guitar and DW so we could sing whatever song we want!
