“So near yet so far,” so the saying goes.
But with the advent of technology, it has been the other way around: ”So far, yet so near.” I am so glad I am alive at this time and age! I could not imagine life without all these advancements in technology. As one that’s been away from my home country for almost 3 years now, these social networking sites have done wonders when I feel homesick or when I just want to look at photos or just want to be nosey about what’s going on back home.
Aside from all these social networking sites available, we also have audio teleconferencing which really makes the whole world a lot smaller. Imagine we could chat with our loved ones like they just live next door?
The wonders of technology have indeed wow-ed us over the last decade. Can you imagine how high tech we could get in the next few years? Hard to catch up with technology, isn’t it?
