The story behind our coming to this school is a bit funny. We wanted to do some after flood care to a kindergarten school which was affected by the flooding here in Bangkok. The teacher who entertained us felt that we did not have to clean up, saying “Khun Khruu tong chai khwamru, mai chai kham lang” (Teachers should use knowledge, not strength).

Nonetheless we were able to help clean their school but not that much...
Since we were a bit persistent about our desire to help, she called the Principal of this school and told her that we could teach English at their school. And so we went there, crossing planks and flooded areas.
After we have agreed on the dates and schedules, we started teaching at this school.

Activity before the class ends

Hubby plays the guitar... and after this particular class he had "fans" crowding at him, hoping to get his autograph. Haha!

He even had one "fan" go all the way down the stairs with hubby's guitar! Thoughtful young man.

That's me in the middle with co-volunteer teachers wearing our pink uniforms
